Simple Recipe Kimchi
Ingredients:
- 5 tablespoons of coarse salt
- 500 grams of Chinese cabbage, split into 4, cut into pieces
- 1 liter of water
Vegetable ingredients:
- 40 grams of radish, cut into matchsticks
- 20 grams of carrots, cut into matchsticks of
- 40 grams of green onions , cut into 3 cm
Ground spices:
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 cm ginger
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 apple, peeled, seeded
- 1/2 onion
- 12 red chilies
Rice porridge:
- 2 tablespoons rice flour
- 100 ml water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
How to make:
- Soak mustard greens with water and coarse salt, let stand for 30-60 minutes. Occasionally squeeze.
- To make rice porridge, mix rice flour, water and sugar, stir well. Cook until thick. set aside.
- Wash the mustard greens 2-3 times until the saltiness is gone. Squeeze and drain. Add mustard greens, complementary vegetables, ground spices, and rice porridge. Stir well.
- Put the kimchi in the jar. Store for 2-3 days at room temperature. After 2-3 days, kimchi is ready to eat.
- Serve with instant noodles or rice.
